Travel Problems and Politics of public transport

Little Book of Tube Etiquette

This a humerous book observing tube etiquette on the London Underground by Laura King. It shows the annoying behaviour she has encountered on her daily commute on London's underground system.

An ex commuter has also developed military style tactics to enable them to get a seat on the tube, Brendan Nelson has devised an online guide complete with graphics.

His tactics uses the ancient Chinese battle Sun Tzu to the daily fight to get a sat.
In his guide he lays out the theatre of conflicts (the tube) the passengers are colour coded and split into different categories. 'Get into position but act casual' 'all warfare is based on deception) He says knowing you enemy and misdirecting passengers are key skills when trying to fight for a seat!
